Our first born grandchild.
We’re bursting with pride.
A beautiful baby boy,
With big brown eyes.
He’s walking, he’s talking,
Doing the things that he should.
When at 2 years of age,
Everything changes for good.
No speech, no laugh,
Just squeaks and squeals.
Clapping of hands,
We don’t know how he feels.
They’re trying their best,
To get him to talk.
Diets and vitamins,
To eat with a fork.
He’s happy we know,
This gorgeous boy.
But to say mum and dad,
You don’t know the joy.
The Echo’s involved,
Taking pictures to show.
To raise the awareness,
Of things we don’t know.
Autism it seems,
Is what took Liam away.
With God’s help and yours,
Maybe he’ll talk,
One day.
Your Nan xx
